Knowing which one we're walking into before we start the job changes the whole approach.
Beyond the chalets
Highway 11 runs the length of Oro-Medonte on its way between Barrie and Orillia, and the growth along that corridor near Craighurst looks newer than the older hamlets further off it. Horseshoe Valley Resort draws staff, guests and seasonal rental traffic that most townships this size don't see, and the lodges and short-term rental properties around it need plumbing that holds up to constant turnover, not the occasional weekend use a private cottage gets. A number of older properties around Warminster and Moonstone are on aging septic systems that were never mapped when they were installed, and when a drain backs up inside the house it's not always obvious whether the blockage is in the household line or the septic bed itself.
